UTICA, NY -- Junior forward Morgan Reed of the Utica College women’s ice hockey was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts against Williams College over the weekend.
 
Reed led the Pioneers with two goals in a 4-1 victory over Williams College on Saturday. She found the back of the net at 17:36 in the first period giving UC a 1-0 advantage. Reed netted her second goal of the game just 13 seconds into the final period of play.
 
Reed leads the Pioneers with seven points (five goals, two assists) on the season.
 
UC now holds a 3-2 overall record with a 2-2 ECAC West Conference record. The Pioneers travel to Clinton on Tuesday, December 2 to take on Hamilton College. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
