Sophomore forward Easton Powers was named the College’s male athlete of the week after his game-winning performance on the ice Friday evening against host Manhattanville.
 
Powers led the men’s hockey team with two goals in the Pioneers 3-2 win Friday evening earning them two points in the ECAC West Conference. He now ranks second on the team with 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) this season. This marks his first game winner of the season and he is now only four points shy of matching his point production from his freshmen year.
 
Currently the Pioneers are 10-6-4 overall and 3-5-2 in conference. UC is back at home Friday evening as it takes on Hobart College in the first of a two-game series, game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
