UTICA, NY- Utica College Junior volleyball player, Brandi Blaszak has been named female athlete of the week for her performance in this week’s games.
 
In four games this week Blaszak led the pioneers in kills with 31, and blocks with 9. She also finished with 14 digs on the week.
 
Blaszak is currently second on the team in kills (136), and blocks (38). She is also sixth on the team with 86 digs. Blaszak currently is seventh in the conference in blocks (38).
 
The Pioneers next game will be on the road on Thursday against SUNY Cobleskill. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
