UTICA, NY – Senior Nick Miglio of the men’s ice hockey team was named the College’s male athlete of the week for his performance in Friday’s game.
 
Miglio scored the shorthanded game winning goal in overtime to lift the Pioneers over Castleton 2-1. The goal was Miglio’s third game winner of the season and he is tied for first in Division III in game winning goals. He has six points off of four goals and two assists so far this season.
 
The Pioneers (6-3-1 overall, 2-3-1 ECAC West) host the annual New York Sash Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday against Salve Regina. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
