UTICA, NY- Junior Nicodemus Gambill of the Utica College men’s track and field team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for his performance on Saturday.
 
Gambill won the men’s 100 meter dash with an Empire 8 championship meet record 10.57, just .06 off his own school record. His current time if the third fastest in the country.  He also won the 200 meter dash with a season best time of 21.91 and he helped win the 4x100 meter relay with a season-best time of 42.48.
 
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday when they travel to St. John Fisher College for the Cardinal Classic.
