UTICA, NY- Sophomore Kaitlyn Stinson of the Utica College Cross Country team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week after her strong performance at the Paul Short Run on Saturday.
 
The Pioneers placed 19^th at the big event, which was hosted by Lehigh University.  Stinson, posted the third fastest 6k time in program-history (23:37) on her way to finishing 36^th overall out of 291 runners.   She has been Utica’s top finisher in three out of four races so far this season.
 
UC will return to action on Saturday when the Pioneers compete in the Hamilton College Invitational. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
