Junior Grace Gallentine of the women's swim and dive team has been named the Utica College Female Athlete of the Week.

Gallentine won two events individually in the Pioneers' 140-82 victory over Cazenovia. She placed first in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle events with times of 59.37 and 2:13.38 respectively. Gallentine was also a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a new pool record with a time of 8:54.66.

The women's swim and dive team now holds a record of 5-4 on the season. The team will be back in action on January 13th, 2017 as they host Alfred University and Wells College. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
