UTICA, NY – Sophomore catcher Mallory Ingalls (Oriskany, NY) of the Utica College softball team was named the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 20.

Ingalls recorded 14 hits, eight runs and six RBIs to help the Pioneers earn a 6-4 record at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, FL last week.

Ingalls led the team in batting average (.438) and slugging percentage (.594). She currently ranks second on the team with an on-base percent of .441 and third with a .974 fielding percentage.

The Pioneers return to the field on Wednesday when they host Cazenovia in their home-opener at Greenman Field. The double header is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
