UTICA, NY – Senior midfielder Tammy Kohanski (Syracuse, NY) of the Utica College women's lacrosse team was named the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 27.

Kohanski registered five goals and two assists to help UC defeat Clarkson University 9-7 last Saturday. She eclipsed the 200 point barrier for her career after scoring a season-high seven points. She also added a game-high three caused turnovers, two ground balls and two draw controls. She now has a school-record 206 career points.

For the season she has recorded four ground balls and eight caused turnovers. Kohanski currently leads the team with 16 points on 11 goals and five assists.

The Pioneers return to action Wednesday as they travel to SUNY Oswego. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
