Kaitlyn Stinson of the Utica College women's cross country team has been selected as the UC Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invite.

Stinson was the first UC runner to cross the finish line, running a time of 16:53 to place second overall as an individual. She was one of five Utica runners to place in the top 10, as the Pioneers came in first place as a team at the event.

Utica will head to Alfred, NY to compete in the Alfred University Short Course Invitational on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
