Utica, NY – Rylee Meelan of the Utica College field hockey team was selected as the UC Female Athlete of the Week on Monday.
 
Meelan tallied a total of five goals in just two games last week, including a hat trick against Skidmore College. Not only did she score three goals in a 4-1 win over Skidmore, she went on to bury two more in UC’s 7-1 win over Elmira on Senior Day. Rylee has now scored 18 goals during her senior campaign.
 
The Pioneers are back in action on Wednesday for a key Empire 8 matchup at home against Hartwick College. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
