Utica, NY – Justin Strielkauskas of the Utica College men’s basketball team has been chosen as the UC Male Athlete of the Week for his performance during a pair of games last week.
 
Strielkauskas played a large role in helping UC secure wins in both contests throughout the week, notching a double-double in back-to-back games. In the team’s 94-83 win over cross-town rival SUNY Poly, he finished with 11 points and 11 boards. Justin then followed up that performance by going for 12 points and 11 rebounds in Utica’s 16-point victory against Cazenovia on the road. After completing last season without a single double-double, Strielkauskas is just shy of averaging one so far this season as the Pioneers stand at 4-0.
 
UC will be hosting Hamilton College on Thursday for some non-conference action. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m.
