Utica, NY – Zach Borsoi of the Utica College men’s hockey team has been chosen as the UC Male Athlete of the Week for his contributions to the team’s success last week.
The Pioneers defeated Stevenson University, 7-1, and Chatham University, 5-0, last week in UCHC competition. In the win over Stevenson, Borsoi demonstrated his great vision by tallying three assists to go with a goal of his own. He continued to move the puck well against Chatham, recording two more assists in the second game of the week. Zach completed the week with one goal, five assists, and a plus/minus count of +5.
Utica will hit the road this weekend for a pair of UCHC games away from home. The team will face Wilkes University on Friday at 5 p.m. and King’s College on Saturday at 4 p.m.
