Utica, NY – Emily Fales of the Utica College women’s track and field team has been selected as the UC Female Athlete of the Week.
 
In the weight throw, Fales earned a second place finish by recorded a personal best throw of 13.49 meters. She also competed in the shot put event, where she threw a distance of 10.97 meters for third place. With two top three finishes on the day, she scored 14 team points for the Pioneers.
 
UC will be back on January 12th as the team hosts the Utica College Invitational & Multi. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
