Utica, NY – Emily Fales has been named the UC Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in her throwing events at this past weekend’s meet.
 
At the Blue and Orange Invitational & Multi over the weekend, Fales threw her personal-best distance of 14.62 meters in the weight throw. Her toss eclipsed the regional qualifying mark of 14.30 meters, securing a spot at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships in March.
 
UC will hit the road Friday for day one of the David Hemery Invite up at Boston University. Competition is set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
