Utica, NY – Gregg Burmaster of the Utica College men’s hockey team has been selected as the UC Male Athlete of the Week for his spectacular output over the weekend.
In games against Chatham and Stevenson, Burmaster recorded five goals and two assists to lead UC to back-to-back wins. He scored twice and made an assist in the team’s 5-1 win over Chatham. The very next day against Stevenson he registered the hat trick and added one assist, as Utica won, 5-2.
Burmaster leads UC with 13 goals this season and is second in assists with 16. His point total, 29, has him within the top 10 in the conference.
The Pioneers are back home on Friday to host King’s College at 7 p.m.
