Utica, NY – Sydney Przygoda of the Utica College women’s basketball team has been chosen as the UC Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at home this past weekend.
 
The Pioneers went 1-1 in a set of games over the weekend, as Przygoda put up back-to-back double-doubles with her effort. She finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Alfred, before coming back with an 18 and 10 double-double to help beat Houghton. During this two game set, Sydney shot 11-for-12 from the floor.
 
The Pioneers will be back home on Tuesday for the final contest of the season. They will host Elmira College for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
