Utica, NY – Katlyn Scarpinella of the Utica College women’s lacrosse team has been chosen as the UC Female Athlete of the Week.
 
The Pioneers went 1-1 on the week, as Scarpinella registered totals of seven goals and three assists during the two games. In the 22-0 rout of Sage, she tallied three goals and one assist to eclipse the 100-point mark for her career. Katlyn followed up with a four goal, two assist performance in a losing effort to Nazareth in a close E8 matchup.
 
The Pioneers are 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the Empire 8, with Alfred University coming to town for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday.
