Utica University Athletics

Utica, NY – Jordan Smith of the Utica College men’s track and field team has been selected as the UC Male Athlete of the Week for his successful day at the Cortland Classic.
 
In the javelin event, Smith recorded a school-record distance of 59.55 meters to improve upon his own historical mark. He ended up also producing an individual best time of 58.76 in the 400-meter hurdles event. The multi-event athlete set two personal-bests and one school-record over the weekend.
 
The Pioneers head to St. Lawrence on Saturday for the SLU Twilight Invite.
