Utica, NY - Senior goalkeeper Allison Wagner of the Utica College women’s soccer team has been chosen as the UC Female Athlete of the Week.
Wagner led her team to its first two wins of the season last weekend in the Erinn K. Brozman Cup at Hartwick College, shutting out both Morrisville and Keuka by a score of 4-0 and 2-0, respectively.

The captain notched five saves against Morrisville, and broke the all-time program save record against Keuka where she finished with 13 saves. Wagner exited the weekend with 437 career saves, passing Melissa Diana who previously held the save record since 1998 with 426 career saves.

The 2-0  Pioneers return to Charles A. Gaetano Stadium for their home opener against Buffalo State at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
