Utica, NY - Senior guard Nicolette Conkin of the Utica College women's basketball team has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week.

The California native finished with 15 points while adding a team-high seven assists and five steals in a 98-50 rout of SUNY Delhi Tuesday night.

Conkin has been the catalyst for UC women's basketball all season, as she currently leads the team in assists (40) and steals (26). She is also averaging 18 points per game, which is good for second-best on the team.

The Pioneers are set to return to action this Wednesday in a non-conference road matchup against cross-town rival SUNY Poly at 5 p.m.
