Utica, NY - Senior forward Hunter Remley of the Utica College men's basketball team has been named  UC Male Athlete of the Week for his stellar outing this past weekend in a big 85-75 victory over the Hartwick Hawks on the road.

He was UC's catalyst all afternoon, posting a season-high 23 points on 6-of-11 shooting from downtown. Six made threes ties Remley's season high, as he also netted six 3-pointers on Nov. 22 against Cazenovia. Remley is currently shooting the sixth-best percentage in the nation from downtown and the best overall percentage in the Empire 8 conference at 51.4 percent.

As a team UC basketball is shooting 44.30 from behind the arc, which currently leads the nation.

The 12-2 UC men's basketball team will return to action this Friday, as it is set to host the St. John Fisher Cardinals at 5:30 p.m.
