Utica, NY - Junior guard Brigid Johndrow of the Utica College women's basketball team has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week for her impressive outing this past weekend.

Johndrow posted a season-high 17 points on five 3-pointers en route to UC's 72-59 conference win over Alfred Saturday afternoon.She also added seven redounds, five assists and three steals in the winning effort. Johndrow peaked a career-high 20 points last season on Nov. 17 at Wells and finished out her sophomore campaign with a 19-point performance against Elmira on Feb. 19, thus making Saturday's outing her third-highest scoring game of her career.

The UC women's basketball team returns to action this weekend for matchups against Nazareth on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and St. John Fisher on Saturday at 2 p.m.
