Utica, NY - Sophomore Lexi Scaccia of the Utica College women's lacrosse team has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performances in the first two weeks of the season.

Scaccia has already totaled 22 points thus far in 2020. The Whitesboro High School alumnus tabbed five goals and two assists against New Paltz, six goals and two assists against Canton, and seven goals against Wellesley. This leaves Scaccia with team-highs in both goals (18) and assists (four)

The 3-0 Utica College women's lacrosse team will return to action this Wednesday for a road matchup against Morrisville at 4 p.m.
