Jordan Kowalski has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of January 20th, 2025.
Kowalski single-handedly pushed the Pioneers to victory on Thursday at Worcester State, with the Senior achieving her first career hat trick in a 3-0 defeat of the Lancers. The Chicopee native set new career highs in shots (10), points (3), and of course, goals (3) in her standout showing against the Lancers of the MASCAC conference. Kowalski was aggressive and versatile, scoring her three tallies in different ways, with the first coming off a stick-handling showcase behind the net, the second coming seconds after Kowalski checked in for a shift change, and the final coming as a result of a perfectly timed rush down the boards. The senior struck once in all three periods to secure the illustrious hat trick and secure a key non-conference victory.
