Hunter Logan has been selected as Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of March 3rd, 2025.

Logan continued his dominant run as the Empire 8’s foremost field athlete this past weekend, picking up his fourth-consecutive Empire 8 Indoor Shot Put Championship. The graduate student from Fort Plain landed an incredible 15.66m throw on his first attempt, blowing away the rest of the competition who had many chances to reach that mark but ultimately fell short. All other competitors within the top 11 had more successful attempts than Logan, but none landed anywhere near his mark of 15.66m, giving him yet another Indoor Shot Put Conference Title.
