Alaina Weaver has been selected as Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of April 28th, 2025.

Weaver led the Utica women's golf team to a third-place finish out of 11 teams at the NWGC Championship on Sunday. She placed 10th overall out of over 50 golfers and scored a 47 in round one and an 87 in round two. The tournament was reduced from 36 holes to 27 after weather halted play on Saturday, with some teams finishing and others not.
