Tanner Warren has been named a Pioneer Athlete of the Week for the week of January 26th, 2026. This is his first Pioneer honor of the academic year.
This past Saturday, Warren and the Pioneers traveled to Ithaca College to compete in its Six-Way Invitational. He continued his strong start to the season by helping Utica win two events. He began his outing by serving as the anchor in the 4x200m relay, helping propel Utica to a 1:30:39, which ranks second fastest in program history. Later on, he continued his success in the 400-meter dash, besting the 50-second mark and finishing after 49.63. Both finish times bested the AARTFC qualifying standard.
This weekend, Warren and the men's track and field team will head out to Boston to compete in the BU Terrier Invite. That meet gets underway on Saturday at 10:30 AM at the BU Track & Tennis Center. The women's team, meanwhile, will head to Gordon Field House to compete in the Harvard Invitational. That event is slated for a 10:00 AM start time over in Cambridge, MA.
