UTICA, NY - Senior midfielder Jose Castro (Warren Easton/New Orleans, LA) and junior forward Evan Dufault (Sutton/Sutton, MA) of the Utica College men's soccer team were named to the D3Kicks.com Northeast region team released Monday.

Castro, who was named to the All-Region Second Team, tallied seven points on three goals and one assist in 16 games this season. His two game-winning goals was a team-best. He was also named to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team for his outstanding midfield play this past season.

Dufault earned third team recognition after leading the conference in points (23) and ranked fourth in goals (9). He guided the Pioneers to a 5-10-2 overall record and a program-best two wins in conference play.

The Pioneers finished the season fifth in the conference and just barely missed out on their first-ever bid to the conference tournament.
