Rochester, N.Y.- The No. 4 Utica College women's lacrosse team lost to No. 1 Nazareth College 13-3 Saturday morning in the first round of the Empire 8 Conference Championships.

Andrea Olney () (Rome Free Academy/Westernville)) on the games final goal as the Pioneers (8-7 overall) completed their most successful regular season in program history, winning eight overall and three in conference play.
Senior goalie Dani Andrew made nine saves for the Pioneers in 60:00 minutes of work.
The appearance in the Conference Championships marks the first time in program history for the Pioneers. Utica won seven of its first ten games to start the season, while defeating conference rival St. John Fisher for the first time in the program's seven year history.
