Utica, NY – Senior forward Evan Dufualt (Sutton/Sutton, MA) of the Utica College men's soccer team was named to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas Division III Men's All-Northeast Region second team.

Dufault, who led the Empire 8 Conference in points (23) a year ago, has done one better this year, leading the Pioneers with 24 points. In 2007 he ranked 18th nationally, with an average of 0.63 assists per game. In only three years at Utica College, Dufualt was selected as a member of the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team each year. He finished his career with 74 points on 26 goals and 22 assists.

The Pioneers closed out the 2007 season with a program-best 10-9 overall record and made history by appearing, for the first time ever, in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament. They would eventually lose in the semifinals of the conference tournament to visiting St. John Fisher College, 4-0, on Nov. 2, 2007. Utica earned a bid as the No. 7 seed in the ECAC Championships, where their season ended on a 1-0 loss to Union College on Nov. 7, 2007.
