UTICA, NY –Senior Evan Dufault (Sutton, MA/Sutton) of the Utica College Men's Soccer Team was named to the D3Kicks.com Northeast Region Men's Third Team. The honor marks the second time in as many seasons, he has been named to the Third Team.
Dufault started in all 18 games and led his team in points (24), assists (12), shots (56) and game-winning goals (3). Some of Evan's highlight games included scoring two goals in the Pioneers' 4-0 win over Ithaca College on Sept. 22, 2007. Dufault also tallied two assists in two Pioneer victories against Potsdam (Sept. 5, 2007) and Cazenovia (Sept. 19, 2007).
The Pioneers finished the 2007 season compiling a program-best 10-9 record. Along with that came an Empire 8 Conference Tournament appearance for the first time ever.
