The Utica College men's soccer team lost a 1-0 decision against host Skidmore College in non conference play Wednesday afternoon. Skidmore's Diego Reinero connected with Doug Yeates on a cross in the 13th minute to give the Thoroughbreds a 1-0 lead they would not relinquish.
With the loss the Pioneers dropped to 1-3 overall on the year while Skidmore improved to 3-2 overall.
UC junior goalie Kevin Murphy tallied three saves in his third loss of the season.
The Pioneers return to action Friday when they host Union College on the turf at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. The Pioneers home opener is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Fans may follow the contest through live video and stats. Links to live video and stats will be available on game day at
