Troy, N.Y. 10/27/2010 – The Utica College volleyball team lost their final game of the season to The Sage Colleges Wednesday night. The Pioneers lost all three matches by scores of 19-25, 15-25, 14-25.
Freshman Rachel Pratt-Smith led the way for Utica with three kills, three service aces, eight digs and one assist. Classmate
Leah Kazalski (Greene, NY/Greene) also turned in a good performance with six assists, one service ace and one dig.
On the season, senior
Heather Jackson (Weare, NH/John Stark Regional) led the team in kills with 58. While sophomore Mimi O'Hara led the team in assists with 193. Junior Audrey Cross had the most service aces (22) and digs (138).
The Pioneers finish the season with a 1-27 record, their only win coming against Elms College on Sept. 18.
