The Utica College football team (4-1, 0-1 Empire 8) looks to bounce back from a tough loss last week to nationally ranked St. John Fisher as the Pioneers host St. Lawrence University (2-3, 2-0 Liberty League) Saturday at 2 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. The Pioneers are off to their best start in program-history and hope to end their four game home stand with a win against St. Lawrence. Two of the Saints losses this season have come at the hands of Empire 8 teams - Alfred and Ithaca. Plenty of live options will be available if you cannot make it out to the contest.

Last Week:
The Utica College football team lost its first game of the season to nationally ranked No. 24 St. John Fisher 35-24 Saturday. It was the first night game at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium, and the Pioneers played in front of a record crowd of 3,567 fans. Utica scored 21 of its 24 points in the first half, but UC could not keep the momentum going in the second half of the game, scoring just three points. Sophomore running back

Utica is 0-2 all-time against St. Lawrence in the program's ten-year history. These two teams haven't met in six years, so both teams are entering unfamiliar territory. The Saints defeated the Pioneers in both meetings by a score of 15-12 in 2003, and 35-10 in 2004.
