The Utica College women's volleyball team lost 3-0 to host SUNY Oswego Thursday. The Pioneers fall to 1-12 overall, while the Lakers improve to 5-9 on the season.
Heather Jackson (Weare, NH/John Stark Regional) (Weare, NH) led UC with four kills to go along with eight digs and two serve aces. Jackson leads the team with 40 kills in 40 games this season.
Audrey Cross (White Lake, NY) tallied eight digs, three kills and one block. Cross leads to defense this year with 68 digs for an average of 1.74 digs per game.
Chelsie Petras (Ilion, NY /Dolgeville) (Ilion, NY) also had eight digs and one block for the Pioneers. Petras leads Utica with 103 assists in 39 games. Over the past five years, Oswego St. leads the series 9-5 in heads up play.
The Pioneers are back in action Saturday as they travel to RIT for the Empire 8 Crossover Tournament.
