Utica, NY – The Utica College women's lacrosse team will travel to Potsdam, NY Saturday to challenge Clarkson University in a non-conference contest. The game will be held at Hantz Turf Field and is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
The Pioneers are currently 1-1 overall and will open up Empire 8 Conference play April 1 against Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. The Knights are 1-0 on the season after beating Kean University, 19-10, in Orlando, FL on Mar. 14.
Utica is led by senior all-time leading scorer
Tammy Kohanski (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran). Kohanski currently leads the team with six goals and is tied for first in points with nine. She also has a team-high five caused turnovers.

Katlyn Banker (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) is tied for first with Kohanski in points and leads UC in assists with four.
Junior goalie
Shelby Barbay (Waterloo, NY/Waterloo) has 17 saves to go along with her team-high six groundballs and four caused turnovers.
The Pioneers return to action Wednesday as they travel to SUNY Oswego. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will be held at South Athletic Field in Oswego, NY.
