Tammy Kohanski (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran), recorded a season-high seven points on five goals and two assists to along with a game-high three caused turnovers.

Over the next four minutes, the Knights would score three consecutive goals to take a 4-2 lead with 12:20 remaining in the first half. However, UC would answer right back with a three-goal run to take a 5-4 headed into halftime. Kohanski netted back-to-back goals at 8:58 and 6:11 to tie the game. The Pioneers came out in the second half and went on another three-goal run over the course of the first 20:00 minutes of play. Junior
Katlyn Banker (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) scored at 28:11 off a Kohnaski dish. Kohanski then scored back-to-back goals at 16:54 and 14:44 to give Utica a 8-4 lead. The Knights would pull within two goals of the lead off consecutive goals from Katie Van DeValk at 9:29 and 6:19. Kohanski would convert her game-high fifth goal at 2:19 as UC took a 9-7 lead. Alyssa Cristaldi scored with :43 second left to make to score 9-8, but the Pioneers would fend off the home team for the third victory of the season.

Shelby Barbay (Waterloo, NY/Waterloo) tallied 11 of her 15 saves in the seond half as she improved to 2-1 on the season.
Clarkson's Kerrie Cline, Cristaldi, and Van DeValk each had two goals for the Knights.
The Pioneers return to action Wednesday as they travel to SUNY Oswego. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will be held at South Athletic Field in Oswego, NY.
