Box Score Elmira, NY (10/27/12)- The Utica College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker Saturday as it fell to host Elmira College, 1-0, knocking it out of contention for the Empire 8 Tournament.
The lone goal of the contest came in the 55th minute as Elmira's Andre Germano put home his team-leading 12 goal of the year.

Jeffrey Cupka (Wilbraham, MA/Minnechaug Regional) and Jonathan Peterson combined for the Pioneers' only two shots on goal, while classmate
Anthony Caruso (Easton, CT/Joel Barlow) made seven saves in the contest.
The Pioneers return to action Tuesday as they host Houghton College to conclude the 2012 campaign. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
