Last Time Out: The Pioneers dropped back-to-back games to begin the week and are looking for redemption Thursday… On Monday, UC fell to Oneonta 59-29, before dropping a 77-67 decision against RPI on Tuesday… Senior
Meghan Fiore (Epping, NH/Epping) had 30 points and junior
Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) grabbed 27 boards over the two days to pace UC.

Fiore Inching Up List: Meghan Fiore (Epping, NH/Epping) needs just 11 points to surpass Pioneer Hall of Famer Daphne Selby for sole possession of sixth place on the College's all-time scoring list… She currently leads the team with 70 points and is averaging 17.5 points, six rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Greenwald Breaking Out: Junior
Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) has a team-best 44 rebounds and is second on the team with 41 points... She is currently averaging a double-double as she has 10.3 points and 11 rebounds per game… On Monday she had a career-high 22 boards in the Pioneers' loss to Oneonta.
Miceli Stepping Up: Freshman
Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) has made a name for herself through the four games so far… She is third on the team with 37 points off the bench… She has netted 9.3 points and five rebounds per game… She is also 10-of-15 on free throws.
Scouting Wells: The Express are 1-3 overall and are coming off a 66-61 loss to Alfred… Wells is led by junior Ashley Roser who is averaging 23.2 points and 19.8 rebounds per game… Roser became the first player in Wells history to score 1,000 career points in the loss to Alfred on Wednesday… The lone meeting between the teams in the last seven years came last season when UC defeated the Express 76-48… Fiore had a team-high 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds on the day.
Looking Ahead: UC wraps up its four-game week Saturday as it hosts cross-town rival, Hamilton College for the final tune up before starting Empire 8 League play… Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
