Rochester, NY (9-19-12) – The Utica College women's tennis team lost 8-2 Tuesday afternoon to Empire 8 rival St. John Fisher. Sophomore
Heather Brisson (Azusa, CA/Azusa) led the Pioneers as she recorded two points in her singles match as well as in doubles with partner freshman
Doni Look (Bridgeport, NY/Chittenango).

Melanie Guzman (Augosta, ME/Cony ) squared off against Fisher's Jennifer Lehmer but lost 6-1 in both sets.
In doubles competition, each pair of Pioneers tallied two points however fell 8-2 in all three sets.
UC falls to 0-4 overall on the season and 0-3 in E8 play while the Cardinals record their first win of the season improving to 1-4 overall and 1-4 in conference action. The Pioneers return to action Saturday when they welcome Cazenovia College to the Utica College Tennis Courts. The match is set to start at 1 p.m.
