Utica, NY (1/23/2013) – The nationally-ranked No. 4/8 Utica College men's hockey team is joining forces with Adirondack Bank to host the Adirondack Bank Trax Bobble Head Night on Saturday as the Pioneers square off against No. 13/11 Manhattanville College in an ECAC Men's West Conference contest. The first 2,000 fans will receive a collector's edition Trax the Pioneer Moose Bobble Head courtesy of Adirondack Bank. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the puck will drop at 7 p.m.
“This is definitely one of the most anticipated promotions we have had here at UC and all of the credit goes to Adirondack Bank for spearheading the effort,” said Head Coach
Gary Heenan. “It's a huge weekend at the Aud and we're excited to have such great promotions surrounding high quality hockey.”
The Pioneers are currently off to their best start in the program's 12 year history and they have now nine of their last ten contests. UC's 14 wins is just three shy of the school-record set back in 2010-11 when the Pioneers finished the year 17-8-1 overall.
