Women's Soccer Falls to Hamilton in Non-Conference Action

Clinton, NY (10/20/13)- The Utica College women's soccer team dropped its second consecutive game Sunday afternoon as it fell to local rival, Hamilton College, 4-0. Freshman Jamie Enders (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) had a game-high 12 saves.

Hamilton got on the board in the eighth minute as Becca Rees tallied her third of the year, off an assist from Kendall Daly. The score held until the 70th minute as Morgan Fletcher extended the Hamilton lead. Daly and Ali Clark each scored in the final ten minutes to extend the Continental lead to 4-0.

Hamilton improved to 4-4-3, while Utica dropped to 3-10-2 on the year. UC returns to action Saturday as it hosts Nazareth College for the program's first ever televised game… The Empire 8 Contest will be broadcasted live on Time Warner Cable Sports… Kick off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
