ECAC WEST POTW: Senior forward Adam Graff (Bear, DE/Syracuse Stars (EJHL)) (Bear, DE/Syracuse Stars (EJHL)) of the Utica College men's hockey team was named the ECAC Men's West Conference Player of the Week on Monday … The power forward from Bear, Delaware was instrumental in the team's two road victories … Graff had UC's first goal in its 2-1 victory against Manhattanville Friday and a goal and an assist as Utica thumped Neumann 6-2 … Graff is second on the team in scoring with six points on three goals and three assists.

ECAC WEST GOTW: Senior goalie Nick Therrien (Rochester, NH/NY Apple Core (EJHL)) (Rochester, NH/NY Apple Core (EJHL)) of the Utica College men's hockey team was named the ECAC Men's West Conference Goalie of the Week on Monday ... Therrien posted two victories this weekend as the Pioneers defeated Manhatanville and Neumann in consecutive nights … He stopped 48 of 51 shots for a save percentage of .941 on the weekend … Therrien and the Pioneer penalty kill unit allowed just one goal against eight power-plays over the weekend … Therrien leads the conference with four wins on the season.

LEADING THE WAY: Senior captain Trever Hertz (Jaffray, British Columbia/Quesnel Millionaires (BCHL)) currently leads the Pioneers in scoring with seven points on four goals and three assists … Hertz scored a goal and added an assist in the Pioneers' 6-2 win over Neumann … Hertz now has 84 points in 83 games in his career, good for 1.01 points per game.

SCOUTING HOBART: The Hobart College men's hockey team enters the crucial weekend at 2-1-3 overall and 2-0-2 in the ECAC West … Last weekend the Statesmen suffered some heartbreak of their own when Geneseo scored with six seconds remaining in overtime to secure the victory … Hobart tied SUNY Brockport 1-1 the following night despite heavily outshooting the Golden Eagles … Sophomore Mac Olson leads the Statesmen with six points in six games … Robert Sovik, Ben Gamache, and Tommy Fiorentino have all registered give points on the season … Goaltender Lino Chimienti sports a 2.29 goals against average and a .912 save percentage.
