Stevens 9, Utica 0 Final

Oneida, NY (4-20-13) – The Utica College men's tennis team was shutout Saturday afternoon, 9-0, by Empire 8 Conference leader Stevens Institute of Technology at the Turning Stone Tennis Courts.

UC drops its third straight match, all in conference, and now occupies a 3-4 overall record while remaining winless at 0-4 in league action.  The visiting Ducks continued their surge as they improved to 10-7 on the season and remain undefeated with an impressive 5-0 mark in the E8.

The Pioneers hit the road for back-to-back matches before returning home to face Hartwick College in the season finale on Saturday, April 28th.  Utica journeys to Rochester, NY Sunday to challenge St. John Fisher for a 1 p.m. scheduled volley.  The Cardinals currently hold a 3-9 overall mark including a 1-2 ledger in Empire 8 play.
