GREENWALD TOP IN THE CONFERENCE: The senior from Wayne, NJ is first in the conference in rebounding with 12.6 rebounds per game… She is currently averaging 2.1 boards per game more than the next player in the conference… She also leads the Empire 8 in offensive rebounds per game (4.8) and defensive rebounds per game (7.8).

MICELI THE GO-TO SCORER: Sophomore Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) is leading the Pioneers with 14.3 points per game... She scored a career-high 42 points against SUNY Potsdam on 11/16. In 12 games, she has scored in double-digits nine times... Miceli has made 24 3-pointers and is shooting 38 percent from behind the arc.

STAYER STEPPING UP: Junior Samantha Stayer (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone) has answered the call so far in 2014… She has averaged 34.25 minutes and 14 points while starting three of the last four contests… She had her first double-double of the season on Jan. 3 against Stevens after she tallied 12 points and ripped down a season-high 11 rebounds.

SCOUTING COBLESKILL: The Fighting Tigers are 2-8 overall and hold a 1-3 record in the NEAC… They are coming off a 69-68 overtime win over SUNY Canton on Saturday… Cobleskill is led by Shelby Preston who has netted 14.0 points and added 8.9 rebounds per game… She also has 17 steals on the season… This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.

LOOKING AHEAD: The Pioneers will continue conference play at Nazareth at 8 p.m. on Friday before traveling to St. John Fisher at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
