Oswego 8, Utica 1 Box Score

Utica, NY (October 1, 2014) - The Utica College men's tennis team lost 8-1 Wednesday afternoon to non-conference rival Oswego State at the Oswego Courts.  Junior Raphael Warnon (Rock Tavern, NY/Washingtonville ) led the Pioneers tallying their only point of the match in the number two slot of sngles play.

UC wraps up the Fall with a 0-2 record and returns to action in the Spring of 2015 when the Pioneers head to Rochester, NY for back-to-back matches versus Empire 8 rivals Nazareth and St. John Fisher Colleges. UC will face Naz on Saturday Mar. 28 before heading across town on Sunday to challenge Fisher.
 
The Lakers even their season mark at 1- 1 and have three more matches scheduled for the Fall including a doubleheader on Sunday Oct. 5 against Alfred University and a heads up match on Oct. 25 at Houghton.
