Utica, NY (11/1/14)- The Utica College women's soccer team dropped its final game of the season Saturday night as it fell to visiting Elmira College 4-0 in Empire 8 Conference action.   
 
The Soaring Eagles scored three goals in the first half and added another tally in the final 45 minutes for their seventh win of the season.  Danielle Fournier netted three goals for Elmira.  Freshman Keri Berkowitz (Racine, WI/Racine Saint Catherine's) made eight saves in the loss, while Elmira's Amanda Banner had one save on the evening. 
 
The Pioneers close out their 2014 campaign with a 5-11-1 record (1-7 Empire 8).  UC will graduate three seniors including Alana Fitzpatrick (Cheshire, CT/Holy Cross), Jenna Hughes (Brookfield, NY/Brookfield), and Katie Matloff (Grafton, MA/Grafton).
