Canton, NY (December 5, 2014) – The Utica College men's basketball team lost its third straight Friday evening to host SUNY Canton, 78-67, on the road in non-conference play. The Pioneers were led by
Conor Maisch (Kingston, NY/John A. Coleman)'s 26 point effort.

th in Pittsford, NY for the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa Tournament hosted by St. John Fisher. Utica tips off against Washington & Jefferson College on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Roos improve to 4-2 on their overall campaign and are back in action Saturday as they welcome Houghton College for a 6 p.m. tip-off. Canton was led by Sam Annorh who netted 25 points on 8-of-17 shooting including 7-of-8 from the charity stripe.
The home team jumped out to a 10-2 lead, over the first five minutes, before the Pioneer offense woke up. Maisch led a push over the next few minutes with six points to pull UC within two, 15-13, at 13:31. However, the Roos answered with a 25-19 run closing out the half with a 40-32 advantage. Aaron Nevins (Buffalo, NY/Canisius) guided Utica in the first half with a combined 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting while the rest of the squad managed a dismal 3-of-12.
Canton controlled the second half for the most part as it moved to an 18 point cushion, 69-51, with just under seven minutes to play. UC worked a final strut over the remaining minutes only to lose by 11 scores, 78-67.
