Annandale-on-Hudson, NY (12/6/14)- The Utica College women's basketball team fell to host Bard College, 59-53, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

Utica moves to 4-4 on the season, while Bard improves to 3-3. The Pioneers return to action Tuesday as they travel to Union College. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Pioneers took a 27-25 lead into halftime, however a three-pointer by Bard's Bianka Bell gave the Raptors a lead they would not relinquish. Senior
Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) tallied her fourth double-double of the season as she netted 11 points and collected a game-high 13 rebounds. She now has 661 career rebounds, just one shy of 2013 graduate, Meghan Fiore, who ranks sixth in UC history. Junior
Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) totaled 15 points, including going 3-for-4 from three-point land.Â

Samantha Stayer (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone) and
Amanda Henderson (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by the Sea) each had six points, while
Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk) and
Ashley Mayo (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet) added five points each. Mayo also dished out a team-best four assists.Â
Calypso Carty (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks West) netted a three-pointer and Ashlynne Babb capped of the scoring. Â
